You see in most wars of the conventional variety at least in the modern era its usually rhe underdog that wins the war. The favored party might win the first few battles may even seem to be winning the war but the pendulum usually swings the other way. The amount of sureness of the us military world superiority does not match my time jn the modern american army. What a fucking mess. Im not so sure we will get a clean knock out blow againt a near peer and a fast victory. Our enemies have been training to compensate for short comming and exploit any advantage because they know thier lives very much are on the line. Our service members take thier superiority for granted and we saw how that went on october 7th

Most Navy seal never really humped terrains until they became seals ...there training is at the beach in the water...Deltas derive from army inf to ranger to special forces and we train all terrains....rem lone survivor...delta or any army branch would not of climbed higher and rested they would of humped miles miles away from the threat...

The real question is, how many do each country employ and how trained are the pilots to judge the outcome of a war...in a single jet v jet its too close to call with the Russian jet maybe 50.5% v 49.5% win probability. But put a squadron of USAA V Russia's and we are 55% v 45% win probability due to training, equipment and maintenance upkeep.

I would argue that detection range and missile range is the only thing of importance here. The fact that the SU 35 detects the Viper first is not correct, the E warfare suite in the wiper is here the most important factor. I would argue that a it is a coin flip between the two.

Adressed to all special operations members: What do you do with the spent mags during Ops? When you get into slide lock reload during an op, do you let the mag drop on the floor like in training and leave it there and move on, or do you pick it up later. I assume you often dont wanna leave anything on the X that can telegraph the presence of coalition forces or even betray your direction of travel etc. How do you go about it? Do u put it in your dump pouch with a tac reload technique? Do you pick it up during SSE along with the casings, or do you just straight up use host nation weopons only if the mission requires that level of deniability? Further more, im curious what kind of items should really NOT be left on target and what kind of items aren't considered as sensitive? Please do not answer if this does not apply to you. Unless you have it on good authority that this is how they do it, do not answer for someone else. I just wanna know coz sometimes people make a big deal about it if certain things are left on target so much so that guys even take their excrements with them in plastic bags during recon ops but it seems unrealistic to be able/willing to collect everything like mags and shell casings after nightraids and stuff. If this is sensitive TTP i wont pry but if not i would very much enjoy reading about this.

With Putin Russia now having lost upwards of 20,000 IFVs how well Western equipment does function in an offensive interventionist role will be now put to the test June, 2024 absolutely. The best IFVs on said battle space still remain Ladas and Scooby-Doo Vans but in theory that could change in a big way as the need for very large numbers of equipment becomes realized. That would mean for now anyways wheeled not tracked vehicles as presented here as the highway system upon in Western Russia is very advanced, intensive, extensive and not much used outside of Moscow proper.

Is about time the USN come out with a new SSBN....How long can it keep over-stretching the perceived superiority of its naval assets which are really ageing? In term of speed, depth and even stealth the Borei class perform better not to mention the cost. The Borei class use pump jet technology while the Ohio propeller so I can only surmise it is much quieter? If I am not mistaken, the former sonar is also more superior with a longer range... I would think the Chinese latest SSBN the Type 96 is also more superior than the Ohio Class submarine...Makes me wonder how is it the US military budget is 900 billion, more than the next 10 countries combined and yet it is falling behind in modern weapon systems development?

Scandinavians are some of the smartest people on Earth and know how to design things very well. Even though Sweden has a much smaller population and much less money but still, overall the Gripen is better. I think most experts would agree. However, the US has a lot more money and influence around the world. The US has the capability to sell more planes than the small country of Sweden.
